This is a fun class for ages 2 and 3 in which basic gymnastic, tumbling, song and dance games and other “Movements” are used to develop confidence and motor skills. A parent should accompany children to their class.

This class is for students 4 years of age (a.) planning on continuing either dance or gymnastics training. (b.) wanting to improve their coordination and self-confidence. Part of the class is dedicated to introducing students to basic ballet movements to help develop coordination and balance. The remainder of the class introduces basic gymnastic and tumbling routines to help increase motor skills and self-confidence.

Ballet is the technical basis for all dance and is where students learn to be flowing and graceful. Ballet is introduced to students in Pre-Ballet class at age four, the very basics are taught. French terminology is taught in all classes as well as musical timing and choreography. The degree of difficulty increases as students move up each level.

Tap classes are especially beneficial for achieving good rhythm and musical timing skills, which are important in all phases of dance. Each class offers tap technique exercises and practice routines which progress in difficulty with each level. It is a pre-requisite that Tap students also have concurrent enrollment in a Ballet class.
Jazz incorporates the student’s ballet training with spirited movements and contemporary music, promoting the development of spotting and pointing skills as well as improving center control. All Jazz students must also be enrolled in a Ballet class.
POINTE & CONTEMPORARY
For students 12 years of age, having adequate technical strength; enrolled in a Level IV or higher Ballet class and approved by the instructor. Students will work on increasing strength, achieving proper stance and the correct mechanics.
Hip Hop is the newest contemporary dance craze incorporating jazz, street dance and a style called funk. Students need no former dance training to take this class. NOTE: Serious dance students should not take Hip Hop in place of Jazz.
Classes will be offered at two levels. Students from ages 7 – 9 may enroll in Level I. Students age 10 and up should enroll in the Level II class. An experienced voice coach will instruct the students in song, while a dance instructor will teach various levels of theatrical choreography to Broadway musical selections.
Gymnastics class teaches students to achieve maximum strength and flexibility. Class is devoted to tumbling and intricate flexing skills, which start with basics at the Beginner Level and progresses in difficulty at each level.
A certified highland instructor will teach combinations of intricate foot work patterns, movement, music and costume performed to Scottish tunes on the bagpipes.
If you like to dance, have fun, create beauty and wear comfortable clothes, this class is for you. The class combines tap and jazz dance that’s challenging yet appropriate for the adult novice dancer. The class will also help improve your mobility, coordination and self-confidence. JUST MOVE (Fitness Dance)
This is a fun fitness class for students 16 years to adult, fusing magnetic rhythms and easy-to-follow moves, This forty-five-minute dance fitness class creates a high energy, calorie blasting, total body dance-based workout.
